Well, we moved!  We sold our home in Herriman and have downsized to a nice townhome in South Jordan.  We REALLY like the home and the area.  We better cause this is our LAST place! :-)

St Martin

Talk about the lifestyles of the rich and famous! Well, we're not so rich or famous, but we sure felt like it! The Villa rents for $30,000 per week and the Company sent us there with five other couples. We had a BALL! Nothing to do, but whatever we wanted to do! We slept in a gorgeous room with one double door entering onto a deck with a view of the grounds and the ocean and another double door entering into the pool area.
We ran waverunners in the bay and the ocean one day. Sixty miles per hour in the open ocean is a HOOT!
We ate at restaurants right on the beach with the waves crashing to shore. And the color of the ocean! My goodness! Now I know what they talk about when calling the Carribbean Sea turquoise!
The island is only 37 sq miles but it is ALL gorgeous!
Just a wonderful trip and one that we will not soon forget...

The Saulala's Visit

It was a BALL seeing Saul and his family after all these years!! What a great time it was for us to visit them. It is great seeing such a great missionary turn into a great husband and father! He and Jennifer have done a wonderful job!!

My 60th Birthday!!

What a GREAT surprise! Probably 40-50 people came to surprise me, INCLUDING Suzie & Coy and Rene and my three California grand-children!! So ALL of my children and grandchildren were there! I had a BLAST!!! Marie and others worked VERY hard to put it together and I will never forget the experience, nor the feeling of love and care...

Brandon' s Blessing

What a GREAT trip in January to join Mark & Rene as they blessed our newest grandbaby, Brandon! He is such a sweetie. Marie fell in love instantly. So much so that he is coming for a visit next month! We can't wait!

However, I DO want to point out that Rene was SO grateful to Marie and Steph for helping her out, but it is actually MIKE AND I who will be paying the huge price while our wives are COMPLETELY focused on the little guy! Well, I guess I will be too... (BIG grin)

The Harlem Globetrotters

JR & Family invited us to attend the Harlem Globetrotters with them the first of February. We had a WONDERFUL night and enjoyed their company as well as the show!!

Suzie Visits

It was great to have Suzie and Coy visit for a couple days on their way to Colorado for Thanksgiving. We're looking forward to seeing 4 of our kids and 6 of our grandkids this holiday week! We hope Rene and Mark have a WONDERFUL time out in sunny SD too!

Rene's Graduation

Marie and I sure enjoyed our trip to San Diego this past weekend for Rene's Graduation WITH HONORS from UC San Marcos. We started our visit by attending Suzie and Casey's soccer game on Friday night. As you can see, Suzie was EXTREMELY quick as all her photos are blurred! Sorry Suz.
Saturday was the big day. Weather was GREAT. Facility was GREAT. Attendance was GREAT! We got lots of pictures which I will upload to a website for you to download in full size.
We went to dinner after the ceremony where Mark made a wonderful toast to Rene and all her hard work and dedication. We felt honored to be able to share this day with Rene.

Jack IV's Baptism

Jack IV was baptised on May 2nd. What a GREAT day! I can't think of anything more rewarding to Marie and I than to see our kids and grandkids following the correct path.

Jack asked Grandma to give the closing prayer and Grandpa to be a witness. We appreciated so much the opportunity to not only share in this time with Jack and his family but to be able to participate made it even more special.

Thanks Jack!!

Sarah's Birthday Sleepover

Each of the Utah Grandkids (out of diapers) comes to a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa sometime near their birthday. Below are the pictures from Sarah's recent stay.
